The Future of IT as seen by me.

Converged switching infrastructure. No longer having one fabric for San, on for Lan and one for cluster interconnects. NFS over infiniband for example, the biggest problem with NFS is the network. If you have a converged highspeed infrastructure, you eliminate that problem. Nfs could be used in situations were SAN disk is cost prohibitive. 10 TB of 7210 space vs 10 TB of HDS space.
